About

I am an artist and a teacher based in London. I'm interested in the relationship we have with the objects around us in this consumer driven, highly digitalised world. Cheap, mass-produced objects often have no obvious relationship to the body. They stand mute and dumb, their synthetic materiality resisting decomposition and alteration. Sculpture offers the possibility to re-negotiate these relationships, to imagine new connections between objects and the human body, and to re-invest objects with a potency akin to ritual and ceremony.
